Axiom IMPROV
The IMPROV is the perfect all-terrain pushchair for all disabilities. With the fixed 16” front wheel, it easily glides through grass, gravel, over curbs, and hard sand. The IMPROV was designed for indoor and outdoor recreational mobility and allows families to experience the world with their differently abled passengers.
Some of our favorite features of the IMPROV include a sun canopy, a 5-point harness, an undercarriage basket, hand brake, rear foot brake, and an adjustable push handle! The IMPROV comes in two sizes and two colors.
Our IMPROV chair is a 3-wheeled pushchair with a FIXED front wheel. What does that mean for the friend pushing the chair? When you are pushing the chair and want to turn around a corner, you will have to push down on the handlebar and pivot the chair. It does take some getting used to, but after a while it’s like second nature.
Why is the front wheel fixed? Because of the large size of our chairs, a single swivel front wheel does not pass safety standards, so your front wheel is fixed. If you’re interested in a swivel wheel option, we do have a swivel wheel axis kit that turns your 3-wheeled chair into a 4-wheeled chair.
